About You
We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, a deep understanding of employment laws and best practices, and a passion for building a positive workplace culture. As our HR Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping our employee experience, driving HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with provincial, state, and US/ Canadian federal employment laws and regulations.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal programs.
- Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that reflect company values and ensure consistency across the organization.
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with company values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record in leading HR initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Breezy HR, PayChex, Asana, Slack and Google Suite is a plus.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of American and Canadian employment law is a plus.
- PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
